So, sometimes, before I post here, at ecaked, I scroll back up to the top of the thread to peruse the title once more. At times, I am confused, other times, just titillated, but now I am reminded... that this is my dry-heaving blog. So, perchance I could use it for gods' intended purpose:


So, I am in Atlanta, GA, that is. I am working on a house, renovation... to sell it, for my dad. Any questions? I say, good day.

I am still in Atlanta. Still doing the remodel. It's close, very close. I am so OVER this place. I am ready for home, ready for snow.

Relief is supposed to arrive this week, so I can finally take some time off. Did I mention the house is in whoreville-cracktown? So, we have been afraid to leave it... we have not been away from this house for more than short trips to Home Depot for supplies.

We've only had one minor break-in, so far... and that was while we were here. And that was pretty dry-heaving creepy... Damon is usually a night owl, so he's was awake until at least 2am. I am an early riser, so I was up around 4am. The break-in was during those over 9000 hours. It's as if they were watching the house, fuckers.

We only have a few things left to finish... Minor: sink installs, paint touch-ups, etc...... Major: new carpet, new gutter, more landscaping.

Once we're done, I promise, I will endeavor to visit here more often. I know it's not a very good excuse, but I have been so busy with this place I can barely see straight. We have been averaging about 80n hours per week, each. Did I mention we have been here since May?

If we sell this one quickly, I think this may be my new 'career'. Anyone wanna do some research for me? How is the house-flipping business in/near New York, Johannesburg, London... for example?

It seems like the house market is kinda slow here, but I could find you some real shit holes to work on.

I may have had my fill of shit holes...

Of course, as soon as this first house sells... I have one major plan: vacation (tentatively, Vaguely New England Bound)

Unless, of course we make a fuckton of money... then I can add other traditionally non-driving destinations... like both SA's (south America and south Africa) and of course, Asia.


I assume you already have the Chinese restaurant and strip club at which we are meeting-up chosen. Are there any other sites we will need to visit while in town?
