Conklin also said that this wasn’t the first time that Travis had escaped. He said that Travis had escaped in 2003 and wreaked havoc on the streets of Stamford. In an earlier interview with CNN, Wildlife expert Jeff Corwin, stated that an adult chimpanzee weighing about 150 pounds is three to seven times stronger than a human being. He also went on to say:
